Gurjot Gill
Articled Student
Gurj obtained his Juris Doctorate from The Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law. Prior to attending law school, he attended Simon Fraser University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a certification in Police Studies. Gurj combines his legal training with a complex understanding of both the Criminal Law and the intricacies surrounding police investigations in conducting his work.
Prior to becoming an articled student, Gurj began his legal career as a Legal Assistant at Gill & Gill Law. Over this time, he worked hand in hand with the lawyers of the firm on complex Family and Criminal Law matters, where he acquired intricate skills and techniques of practice to sharpen his own skillset. Gurj values this time spent learning greatly as it now allows him to leverage the unique practices implemented by his colleagues to develop a client-tailored approach to each legal matter. He is keen on applying his skillset to assist in the firm’s future success.
Gurj understands the stress and anxiety that legal matters can create for clients. However, he also understands that collaboration is necessary to obtain the best results. Thus, he takes a practical approach in working closely with clients and colleagues to reach the best outcomes, while striving to keep clients informed and their minds at ease.
In his spare time, when he isn’t immersed in deepening his legal knowledge, Gurj enjoys the outdoors on his motorcycle, following sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.
